- Our CNC Operator will be responsible to assist the Shop Manager in
maximizing QUALITY and PROFIT
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- CNC Milling Training Required in Mold and / or Die Making Industries
- Successful Completion of College Level Tool & Die / Mold Making/CNC
Machining Diploma
- A good command of the spoken and written English language, strong
mathematics background that includes a solid understanding of trigonometry
- Strong problem solving skills
- Assist in resolving any scheduling alterations expediently in order to
maintain daily production targets
- Continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute suggestions that would improve profitability of the shop floor
and/or the company and suggest methods of improvements to the Shop Manager
- Programming/CNC Operations - Work towards being able to effectively use any
of Palcam’s software for programming and/or verification within the first year
of employment
- Ensure parts are machined to the proper revision number
- Operate CNC equipment
- Ensure machines are kept clean on a daily basis as well as performing daily
lubrication requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work place
QUALIFICATIONS:
- CNC Milling Training Required in Mold and / or Die Making Industries
- Successful Completion of College Level Tool & Die / Mold Making/CNC
Machining Diploma
PREFERRED:
- Aerospace industry experience
